Charter Care Health Partners HR Assistant in Providence, Rhode Island

Summary: The Human Resource Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organizations human resource department. Supports the Employee Health Office.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Previous experience working in Human Resources preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications. Experience with Oracle a plus.

  • Experience in identifying and supporting process improvement and/or project management, with a focus on human resources related projects.

  • Experience with human resources data and metrics reporting and analysis

  • Proven ability to multitask, manage competing projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to organizational change.

  • Discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information

    Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements : Normal office setting. Requires long periods of visually examining documents and viewing computer screens. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 20 lbs. Must be able to bend, stretch, use tools and ladders. Meets all safety requirements associated with CharterCARE Health Partners facilities.
