TREE TOP INC Forklift Operator-Swing & Grave Shift in Prosser, Washington

Swing shift hours 3:00 pm-11:15 pm Mid Shift hours 7:00 pm - 03:15am Grave shift hours 11:00 pm-7:15 am SUMMARY: Use lift truck to stage fruit to dump area for processing, dump fruit, and remove empty bins. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Other duties may be assigned. All the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. Operate Equipment Safely Transfer Fruit from Dock Dump Fruit Remove Eliminators and Empty Bins Complete Paperwork and Computer Inputting Accurately Communicate Effectively Clean Surrounding Belts, Chutes, Shakers, etc. Maintain GMPs Ensure Food Safety by Following HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points) Lock-Out Tag-Out CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Required: Forklift Certification; Tree Top will certify at time of hire. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for paperwork and observing fruit, distance vision for driving, color vision to determine apple variety, peripheral vision for driving, depth perception for driving, and the ability to adjust focus to monitor equipment. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
