We are currently hiring for a CNC Machinist

Hours are 7AM - 3:30PM / 2:30PM - 1AM (Monday - Friday)

*Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays and overtime as required.

The purpose of this position is to manufacturer and repair precision parts and components. Operate and monitor a variety of computer-numeric-controlled machines, used to manufacturer and repair precision parts and components used in the underground and surface mining industries, as well as industrial markets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Use CNC modules to design materials based on blueprints or programmed command sequences and operate some manual operations Set-up, maintain and modify machines with attachments, fixtures or specialized tooling to achieve different production capabilities with optimal outcome Inspect all finished products for accuracy and uniformity to ensure quality standards are met Maintain tools/tooling and cleanliness of assigned work area Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:

5+ years of practical CNC experience, including familiarity with programming and interpreting CNC software as well as CAD and CAM software 5+ years experience operating CNC lathe and mills preferred VTL (Vertical Turret Lathe) experience a plus

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Ability to interpret prints and drawings Ability to understand and program G-code Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and follow established procedures Basic programming skills preferred Excellent organizational and planning skills High school diploma, equivalent or post-secondary certification required
