Bristol Myers Squibb Associate Manager, Oncology Field Force Learning & Development in Princeton, New Jersey
The position of Associate Manager Oncology Field Force Learning & Development will report directly to the Associate Director of Oncology Field Force Learning & Development.
Under the leadership of the Associate Director and in collaboration with key matrix partners, the Associate Manager’s primary responsibilities include the design, development, delivery, deployment and maintenance of the Oncology sales team’s new hire learning curriculum. In addition, the Associate Manager’s key priorities include supporting and executing all tactics aligned to tumor specific strategic imperatives and the overarching learning strategy.
The Associate Manager position is responsible for executing the learning plan and tactics aligned to important market shaping events for BMS Oncology and key competitors as well as any changes in marketing strategy that effect the commercial sales direction. Thus, this position requires a strategic learning leader with experience in the development and tactical execution of POA meetings and launches.
The Associate Manager will develop a blended mix of training focused on adult learning principles. This includes both instructor led live training events as well as virtual (remote) instructor led learning. This position will require knowledge of different learning modalities and proficiency across various technology platforms.
Must live within 100 miles of the Princeton Pike location
A minimum of a BA/BS degree
5+ years of sales experience demonstrating top performance/business acumen in the medical sales industry (pharma, biotech, diagnostics, device etc…)
Oncology experience is strongly preferred and Melanoma experience would be ideal
Home office training experience is strongly preferred
Ability to travel (approximately 20%) which may include overnight and/or weekend travel

Ability to successfully collaborate with, manage and influence a dynamic and deep matrix team and key stakeholders, project management prioritizing multiple projects and work streams at once with strict and tight timelines, excellent communication skills both written and verbal, facilitation and presentation skills (power point skills are a basic requirement), passion for Oncology and the patient that we serve
