Genmab Associate Director Strategy & Operations, Global Medical Affairs (GMA) in Princeton, New Jersey

The Role

This pivotal role demands strategic acumen and exemplary leadership skills, and a deep commitment to the values and vision of our Medical Affairs organization. We have a hybrid model that requires being onsite 60% of the time in Princeton, NJ.

Enhance Organizational Efficiency: Play a pivotal role in augmenting operational effectiveness within GMA, leveraging a deep understanding of the strategic framework.
Cultivate Collaboration: Foster an environment that promotes interdepartmental cooperation and innovation across US Medical Affairs, Strategy & Operations leads and the broader Commercialization team.
Uphold Ethical Standards: Consistently exemplify integrity, ethical conduct, and a commitment to quality across all facets of our operations within Strategy & Operations, Medical Affairs, and Genmab.


Responsibilities

Leadership Collaboration: Work closely with senior executives and department heads to ensure strategic alignment and cohesive progress towards organizational goals.
Strategic Meeting Execution: Lead the orchestration of Global Medical Affairs Leadership Team meetings (MALT), including driving strategic agenda development, circulation of materials, and communication of actions and outcomes. Collaborate with leadership to highlight critical topics aligned with organizational priorities.
Leadership Forums: Drive various Medical Affairs forums such as All Hands, Town Halls, and other ad hoc team meetings in partnership with the MALT or S&O lead. Responsibilities include leading the planning and workstream creation with MALT lead in theme and agenda formation, content development, and strategic updates. Drive meetings towards delivery, partner with leads and Strategy & Operations colleagues as agenda dictates.
Performance Metrics ("QBRs"): Drive quarterly performance metrics across GMA that spotlight the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and data-driven decisions. Communicates this data across various LT forums, e.g., COLT, RDLT, USLT, and others as directed.
Awards Program Administration: Provide oversight across (KYSO) MA awards program, from nomination collation to coordination with HR for award distribution.


Strategy & Operations Solid Tumor Focus

Function as the GMA Solid Tumor ("ST") S&O lead in close alignment with ST PMs, elevate timelines to ensure we stay abreast of upcoming deliverables on key Medical Affairs ST initiatives.
Articulate and disseminate GMA priorities across different functions, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals. Provide strategic support to ST team as directed.


Guide non-asset related efforts and cross-functional demands across GMA, includes but not limited to:

Contribute to formal business operational health checks in partnership with Head, Global Medical Strategy & Operations.
Collaborate with the PPM, and others to monitor and discuss budget updates, contributing to long-range planning discussions and financial strategy meetings in preparation for LT forums.
Pull forward data visualization efforts for GMA and in partnership with S&O Head and S&O Analytics Lead in the optimization of data and communication across the teams.
Participate in S&O efforts / projects as defined by Head, S&O and in support of development.

Requirements

BA, BS, MBA, or equivalent qualification in a relevant Business, Finance, or Scientific field.
Prior experience in a Business Operations or Strategy & Operations role, particularly providing strategic support for a Leadership team.
Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience, particularly in Oncology.
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate medical objectives into strategy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in data visualization and operational innovation in the medical field is highly desirable.


For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$157,500.00---$262,500.00

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
