This is a Intensive Care Unit of Nursing Service position that provides delivery of patient care with the knowledge of a Registered Nurse. Essential Functions: * Performsplanofcareintervention,includingmedicationadministration,specimencollection,clinicaltreatments,aswellasothermedicalcaretreatment.

• Documents patient care given.

• Assistspatientswithperformingactivitiesofdailyliving,includingpersonalhygiene,elimination,nutrition,and ambulation.

• Collaboratesasneededacrossdisciplinestocoordinatepatientcare,includingpatienttransfer,discharge, referralandspiritual/psychosocialsupportneeds

• Evaluateslearningneedsofpatientand/orfamilyandprovidespatient/familyeducationappropriatetoage,culture,condition,andcircumstances.

As pertinenttotheposition,mustbeabletousecomputer,telephone,calculatorandadapttonewtechnologyasitbecomesavailableandnecessaryforthejob.Musthaveapositiveattitude,eventemperamentin stress/conflictsituations.

Job Requirements

• Must have a current Utah RN license or multistate/compact license.
• Must obtain BLS within 60 days of hire
• Must obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire
• Must obtain PALS within 6 months of hire
