Responsibilities

Uses outstanding customer service skills to schedule surgical procedures perform pre-admission patient consultations and insurance authorizations. Utilizes software applications and/or other supporting systems or documentation to ensure scheduling accuracy and expediency. Provides front office support for the practice.

Qualifications

Required:

  • One year prior front office or clerical experience.

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Basic Computer skills Outlook window-based programs.

  • Ability to organize work so that productivity and effectiveness are maximized

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast- paced environment.

Preferred:

  • One year surgical scheduling experience.

  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred; Cernerstrongly preferred.

Pay Range

$18.00 - $24.66 /hour
