The Opportunity

For our Heart Failure Division HF we are currently looking for an experienced, well-skilled professional to join our team in Czechia as a Therapy Development Expert . This is a regional role requiring daily traveling across assigned area (Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, with occasional support to other locations).

The Therapy Development Expert provides market development and sales support of Abbott’s HF products in the assigned region through training and education to new or existing customers and distributors.

What You'll do:

  • Assists in the promotion ofMCS's products to existing and prospective clients in cooperation with the distributors in the assigned region.

  • Organizes and actively participates in variousmarket developmentactivities and events, such as referral meetings or congresses with local healthcare associations, patient groups, etc.

  • Monitors account activities, creates and implements customer plans and programs to optimize outcomes.

  • Establishes strong professional relationships with the variousstakeholdersin the accounts (hospital administration, clinical staff, etc.).

  • Completesreportsand additional documentation requested bymanagementin a timely manner.

  • Advisesmanagementor other internalstakeholdersof anysales,marketing,customer relationshipand product enhancement opportunities.

  • Evaluates clinical and educational needs of customers, together withMarketingand Clinical team conducts trainings as required and provides input into the appropriate functions.

  • Actively participates in the communication of concepts and ideas designed to benefitcustomer supportand educational efforts.

  • Tracks industry trends to alertmarketingto new product developments.

  • Provides input into the strategic and tactical planning process.

  • Provides support at tradeshows as needed.

  • Alerts of product performance issues, which may surface in the field.

Required qualifications and background:

  • Medical deviceor pharma experience required. Knowledge of heart failure, cardio-vascular implantable devices andcapital equipmentexperience is highly preferred.

  • Multinational healthcare companycommercial experiencedesired.

  • Highlymotivated, excellent written and verbal communications skills.

  • Desire to help others, composed under stress and well organized.

  • Ability to understand, analyze and communicatesales, financial, technical and clinical data.

  • Experience working in distributors markets

  • Fluent/advanced Englishknowledge

  • Customer orientedand self-starter mentality.

  • Computer literacy.

  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned region (up to 80%, including overnight) and should not be restricted from any international travel.
