In this position, you would help us enable engineers to develop more secure and compliant products without slowing down. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager to work with us to develop the next generation of compliance tools and lead the 1ES Compliance Tooling team. This position is located in Prague, Czech Republic.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and validate scalable, high availability services.

• Collaborate with teammates in various roles to plan and execute on key deliverables.

• Organize, maintain and participate in live site on-call rotation

• Work in a culture of continuous improvement, adaptation, reflection and growth.

• Build and maintain warm and productive working relationships with internal Microsoft teams.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Senior-level professional experience developing, and shipping high quality software and design experience, using one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C#, Java, C/C++, Rust, Python

• Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Design, Software Engineering

• or a related field or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure/AWS/GCP or other similar Cloud Platforms

• Experience with SQL-like querying languages

• Experience with CI/CD solutions

• Experience developing distributed systems

• Experience with multi-threaded programming

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Track record of forming, mentoring and growing strong engineering teams
