Siemens SAP Implementation Consultant – Transport Management System (SAP TMS) in Prague, Czech Republic

Do you have a strong IT background implementing SAP Transport Management Module?

We have a new challenge for you:

Our Logistics team at Siemens Global Business Services support Siemens organizations and we are looking for a hands-on consultant to work with our several business units 1to1 and help them to implementing the TMS SAP module word wide.

What are the main tasks of the Transport management system implementation?

  • Support the overall Implementation of the SAP Transportation Management module as part of a bigger transformation project within Siemens.

  • Customizing with the SAP TM module based on business requirements,

  • Coordinating SAP Transports (Customizing/Workbench).

  • Create functional specifications for necessary developments to be implemented within SAP based on business requirements .

  • Perform functional tests based on new customizing and developments in the SAP TM module.

  • Support on cut-over activities during different roll-out phases.

  • Drive implementation project from IT point of view, coordinate involved parties together with the Project manager through whole project lifecycle.

  • In the future draft solutions and concepts for process optimizations manage implementation of suggested solutions.

What do we expect from the Logistics Consultant?

  • Very good understanding of end to end logistics process and process (air/ground/sea)

  • Experience with SAP implementation projects in multi landscape scenarios with multiple stakeholders in an agile environment.

  • Excellent knowledge of SAP TMS module

  • Basic knowledge of the EWM and MM modules in SAP S/4

  • SAP ABAP knowledge and experience with EDI is advantage

  • Experience in supporting fit-gap analysis is an advantage

  • Professional communication, capable to sell own ideas and convince others, structured and analytical, capability to understand complex environment.

  • Experience in Shared Service/Business Services and international environment is an advantage.

  • Willingness to travel to customer location

  • Very good command of English , German language knowledge is an advantage. ·
