Microsoft Corporation Product Manager II in Prague, Czech Republic

We’re looking for a Product Manager II with a technical background who is passionate about building high-quality consumer-grade products that customers trust and love. Based in the heart of Europe- Prague, our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for Skype users worldwide. 

As a Product Manager II, you will be responsible for defining feature roadmaps, designing the best user experience, measuring success, and using data insights to inform future plans. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with partners across engineering, design, data science, and product to deliver world-class experiences across our desktop, mobile, and web apps. This role requires a blend of product thinking, strategic thinking, user-centric design, cross-team collaboration, and external customer engagement. Your contributions will be pivotal in shaping the product roadmap, enhancing the user experience, and ensuring that Skype remains a trusted communication platform for millions.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business goals and user needs, collect requirements, and synthesize product plans to deliver maximum impact  

  • Deliver end-to-end product, including competitive research, requirements definition, user experience, and delivery  

  • Validate and improve product over time through measurement and experimentation  

  • Engage with customers, and triage, prioritize, and address customer feedback for your area  

  • Manage dependencies across teams to ensure features solve customer needs cohesively 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree ANDexperience in product/service/project/program management or software development

  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Product management experience delivering end-user facing products and services. 

  • Passion towards defining end-user facing UX products 

  • Innate curiosity and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing startup environment. Self-starters and innovators with a positive, collaborative can-do attitude and bias for action are very welcome. 

  • Strong affinity and experience in user-centered design, UX design and innovating on behalf of the customer is required. 

  • Understanding of desktop, web and mobile technologies 

  • Great problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and analytically to define and track success metrics for your areas 

  • Ability to wear many hats and learn quickly, and collaborative skills to lead a change in direction when needed. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical.
