SAP Finance Specialist for SAP Emarsys Finance Hub (Accounts to Report) in Prague 5, Czech Republic

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

On October 1, 2020, SAP announced its acquisition of Emarsys, a leading omnichannel customer engagement platform provider. This strategic move enhances SAP's Customer Experience portfolio, promising hyper-personalized, real-time, and impactful consumer engagements.

Emarsys' platform, known for AI-driven personalization, covers Email, Mobile, Social, Ads, and Direct channels, offering pre-configured templates for e-commerce and retail.

Global Finance Infrastructure (“GFI”) is dedicated to seamlessly integrating Emarsys Finance functions into SAP or aligning the processes as close to SAP standards as possible, while running on legacy systems. The existing Emarsys SSC team manages core financial processes, ensuring a comprehensive coverage from Procure to Pay, Fixed Assets, Trips & Expenses, Record to Report, Order to Invoice, to Cash Collections.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND TASKS

As a team member of the GFI Emarsys Finance Hub team in Prague, you are expected to learn and live the Shared Services concept, preferably Accounts Payable and Record to Report. You should be able to work tactically while think strategically, as in this team, your set of actions may be shaping the future best practices in the specific finance process. You are to going to act as point of contact for the existing Emarsys Finance team, also as Subject Matter Expert for variety of operational queries, as well as play a vital Business Partnering role. Your ability to deliver within committed time frame under any circumstances will conclude the requirements for a successful candidate for this role.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION / SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor or Master´s degree in relevant field of expertise (accounting, business administration, CPA, or similar).

  • Awareness of main accounting frameworks; IFRS and/or US GAAP main principles.

  • Readiness to drive activities resulting to successful completion of month/quarter-end closing cycles.

  • Excellent English verbal & written communication skills

  • Motivated, engaged, independent, goal oriented and highly performing individual.

  • Analysis and problem-solving skills with Results and Quality orientation.

  • SAP, Oracle, Salesforce System and Process environment experience is benefit.

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

  • Organized, punctual individual with strong attention to details.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 2-5 years work experience in finance preferred

  • Any prior work experience in SSC (AP, R2R,) or MNC is welcomed

  • Desire to learn, develop and work with new tools, processes, and stakeholders.
