Stanley Black and Decker Demand Planner – Graduate Program (SLP) – September 2024 in Poznan, Poland

Location: Poznań, Poland, hybrid

Global Supply Chain Stanley Black & Decker Leadership Program (also known as ‘SLP’)

Global Supply Chain SLP Experience

You will work in 3 different rotations such as planning, manufacturing and procurement in different facilities across Europe. The SLP will rotate once internationally for 8 months.

You will participate in a cross-functional learning curriculum, developed to strengthen your skills and ensure you have the tools to become a results-driven, agile leader. Each work assignment will offer Project Assignments that allow program members to become familiar with how we do business and contribute to the success of the organization. The program offers invaluable experiences for early-career associates seeking challenging developmental opportunities to jump-start their careers.

Responsibilities:

  • Predicting future demand for products or services to guide inventory and production planning.​

  • Coordinating production schedules to meet demand while considering capacity constraints and production efficiency.​

  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks that could impact the supply chain, such as disruptions in supply, demand fluctuations, or logistical challenges.​

  • Proactively maintain JDA forecasts, analyze data, and report findings to support the team's decision-making to improve forecasting and identify areas for optimization. ​

  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product and supply to plan new product transitions, promotional activity, network disaggregating and develop market trend analysis on product and customer forecasts.​

  • Support and implement strategies for ongoing improvement in supply chain processes, cost efficiency, and overall performance to achieve 99% customer fill rates. ​

  • Leveraging technology and supply chain management systems to enhance planning, visibility, and communication across the supply chain.​

  • Assist in preparation for monthly Sales & Operations Planning meeting

  • Assess the ability to meet customer demand and expectations.​

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Supply chain, Management, IT, Logistics, or other related majors

  • Demonstrated leadership experience and strong academic background

  • Basic knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and engineering;

  • Recent graduates or early career professionals with less than 2 years of professional experience (including internship/co-op experiences).

  • English language: professional communication

  • Must be willing to rotate work assignments, projects & teams every 6-12 months throughout time in the Program.

  • Able to travel up to 25%, of domestic and international travel.

  • Legal work authorization within the region/country where you are applying.
