Coordinates creation and maintenance of Web content within the Colleges WebCMS, which includes Web page creation and content development; website imagery management (photography and videography) and other related activities. May perform back-end customization ofCMStools and front-end development of nwc.edu with an emphasis on usability (UX), accessibility and Search Engine Optimization. 2. Manages Web projects and tasks, which includes estimating project scope and timeline; determining a projectsCMScustom development needs in tandem with the Web content needs (as necessary); developing, upgrading, or coordinating external contract work for custom Web development. 3. Creates Web pages inside a Content Management System (CMS); develops Web page content, including copy writing, selection and optimization of images, and/or embedding video; utilizes Web appropriate writing styles; applies standard Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques; ensures accessibility of Web content on the College website, including optimization of Web content for users with disabilities. 4. Advises web content-editors which includes monitoring and adjusting content for high performanceSEOand usability; ensuring the accessibility of content; providing information on best practices; troubleshootingCMSissues and providingCMSsupport. 5. Develops training materials and provides training sessions on Web content practices and procedures. Monitors compliance with established web management procedures. 6. Performs a variety of research, assesses feasibility, and makes recommendations based upon industry standards and best practices. Includes areas such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), usability and accessibility best practices; new hardware and software solutions; marketing trends; and technology standards. 7. Implements, and communicatesNWCweb management procedures and projects internally. 8. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
