Welder Operator

Job Description

This position entails operating various types of gas and electric welding equipment, including spot welding, to perform tasks on sheet metal parts. Responsibilities include reviewing job documents, selecting appropriate tools and methods per specifications, using MIG, TIG, and Spot weld equipment, cleaning and preparing surfaces for welding, assembling and welding parts as per drawings, performing quality checks, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety regulations. Additional duties may include grinding of welded parts and other assigned tasks.
