Proficiency with SolidWorks and SolidWorks Simulations Experience with designing electro-mechanical parts, subassemblies and moving mechanisms utilizing gears, racks, bearings, motors, cylinders, vacuum, actuators Familiarity with automation, robotics, thermal concerns, machining & manufacturing, metals, coatings, plastics, sealing, wear on materials and aging Well-versed in thermal dynamics, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), thermal/mechanical finite element analysis (FEA), mean time between failure (MTBF) and failure modes and effect analysis (FMEA)
