Job Summary and Qualifications

• We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will provide the best possible preventative and supportive intra-operative care to each patient based upon their individual needs. This Level 2 hospital is known for providing high quality patient care here in the beautiful Seacoast of New Hampshire. • No weekday call, rotating call on weekends

• Rotating weekends

• Training for specialties- High Orthopedics, General, and Neurology volume

• Training on Robotics- Mako and DaVinci

• Cross trained to all specialties including: Orthopedics, General, Trauma, ENT, Gynecology, Neuro surgery, Breast and plastics, Thoracic, Dental, Colorectal/GI, Urology, and Circulating C-Sections

• Conduct thorough assessments of pre-operative patients

• Collaborate and effectively communicate with our surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe surgical environment for our patients

• Assist in setting up the Operating Room by ensuring all required equipment and supplies are available and in proper working condition

• Implement and maintain strict aseptic technique throughout the surgical procedure

• Provide care, compassion, and emotional support to patients and their families throughout the surgical process

• Remain Up-to-date with the latest advancements in surgical technology, nursing practices, and industry regulations with AORN

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required

• Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License

• BLS (American Heart Association BLS Provider or American Red Cross BLS)

• ACLS (American Heart Association ACLS Provider or American Red Cross ACLS) within 60 days of hire

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred but not required
