AT&T Staff Associate Professional Intern in Portsmouth, United Kingdom

Contract : Limited - 3 months
Type : Office work
This position is a Network Engineering role. You will be part of a diverse group of international employees, spread all over the globe, that are responsible to build and upgrade the Global Network that AT&T has outside of the US.
The network covers 200+ locations in all major cities in the world. In essence, the network is made up of a core (interconnecting all the cities and countries) and an edge (when you are in a city, how are you connecting to the network).
During the internship you will focus on our disposal processes. These processes are subject to a complex set of rules and regulations in an international environment, e.g. asset management, compliance. Towards the end of the internship recommendations for improving the current process could be proposed. While executing the work task, you will have interaction with local teams in the country which are your hands-and-eyes and external vendors. You will have to coordinate what you need and when.
Required Skills and Experience:
Working towards a Bachelor or University Degree is a must.
Technical background is a plus.
Basic knowledge of network equipment.
Experience with administrative work.
Sound knowledge of MS Office applications.
Fluent English (both written and spoken).
A self-starter, reliable and independent personality.
Interested in improving processes.
Attentive to details.
Good organizational skills.
