SAP's Business Technology Platform (BTP) is shaping the future of enterprise software and is a key enabler for the transformation were on together with our customers. It creates the ability to extend and personalize SAP applications, integrate, and connect entire landscapes, and empower business users to integrate processes and experiences.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and deliver the future of GenAI capabilities within SAPs Business Technology Platform by designing and developing products and services in this space.

What youll do

We are looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer with a cloud-native mindset and excitement to deliver AI capabilities to our technology platform at an enterprise-scale.

You will

• Design, implement, and manage DevOps capabilities using CI/CD toolsets and automation.

• Work on infrastructure as code and ensure teams have the environments, deployment pipelines, and tools necessary to be efficient, e.g., automate processes for environment setup, manage deployments, monitor multi-landscape environments, etc.

• Be the DevOps champion in the team, helping the scrum team to stay on top of the latest trends and tools to ensure a cloud-native environment.

• Provide the tooling to ensure we can release often, safely and reliably.

Skills and Experience

• Strong relevant work experience in DevOps, ideally with a software development background, site reliability engineering, quality assurance, or similar.

• Strong knowledge of DevOps automation concepts, practices and procedures.

• Good technical understanding of the intersection of development and operations (DevOps), test frameworks, coverage reporting, application monitoring, and deployment tools and processes.

• Inner conviction of the four DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) metrics and how to optimize them in the DevOps cycle.

• Strong technical problem solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.

• Enthusiasm about AI and its applicability in a business context.

• Passion for learning new technologies and programming skills.

• Fluency both written and spoken in English.
