HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

The Material Planner assures that the procurement and production activities are in place to meet the master supply plan and customer shipping dates and supports operational goals in accordance with the business objectives.

THE DETAILS

  • Lead Procurement and Production Planning:Oversee Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ensuring inventory optimization, integrity, and adherence to customer service goals.

  • Drive Inventory Management:Implement best practices to manage inventory levels, reduce excess stock, and support new product introductions.

  • Enhance Communication:Maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of materials.

  • Master Data Management:Maintain and update procurement planning master data in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

  • Continuous Improvement:Develop and implement action plans to improve procurement efficiency and overall planning processes.

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Educational Excellence:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management preferred, with equivalent experience considered—ideal for those passionate about driving supply chain success.

  • Proven Expertise:Bring at least 3 years of hands-on experience in planning and supply chain methodologies, with a preference for proficiency in inventory data entry and procurement.

  • Technical Proficiency:Master the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a bonus for experience in data management software like SAP.

  • Strategic Problem-Solver:Demonstrate analytical prowess and decision-making skills, using relevant information to solve complex problems and drive organizational success.

  • Collaborative Leadership:Thrive in a globally dispersed team environment, utilizing strong communication and presentation skills to influence and engage diverse audiences.

    AVAILABILITY

    Available to work remote; eligible for domestic and international travel as needed. Usually around 2-4 times per year for a week at a time.

    For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Washington, Colorado, Nevada, California, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Connecticut, Oregon Tool is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the locati on at which the position may be filled. At Oregon Tool, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000 - $85,000.
