Myers Container A Stavig Group Company is hiring for a Plant Manager for the plant in City of Industry, CA. The ideal candidate will possess these skills and qualifications: \' Oversee all aspects of daily, weekly, and monthly Myers COI production. \' Schedule daily/weekly production. \' Notify customers in the event of late or nonconforming orders. \' Hold supervisors accountable to meet customer and Myers COI requirements including quantity, quality, efficiency, safety, plant cleanliness, attendance and hours worked after production. \' Perform scrap analysis by use of quality metrics \' Determine status of non-confirming product (accept, rework, regrade, or reject). \' Audit of the current process versus Myers COI procedures and customer specifications. \' Maintain mill supplies with accordance to specifications. \' Interview and place employees applicants where most suitable. \' Participate in meetings concerning Myers COI operations. \' Maintain a safe environment (OSHA, EPA, and third party insurance compliant) for all Myers COI employees. \' Work as a member of the management team in deciding future needs and plans of the Company (process, product, and equipment). \' Implement Performance Improvement Plans. \' Interface with Human Resources in reference to developing long term solutions for various personnel and legal issues. \' Interface with Maintenance in reference to PM status, project scheduling, and budgeting issues. \' Interface with customers in reference to quality, service and delivery concerns. \' Interface with Sales and Client Services regarding market issues, target accounts, customer profile development and quality issues. \' Oversee the environmental program to assure compliance with DOT, National EPA, and any other required standards and laws. Other Duties include but are not limited to the following: \' Meet with customers to explain Myers COI manufacturing process and to give plant tours (frequent). \' Generate and speak to reports detailing metrics of plant performance (occasional) Qualifications to perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the above duties.
