Maintenance Technician

Paying $26 / HR - $30 / HR

Location: Portland, OR

Responsibilities:

• Performs preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures in accordance with SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications, and safety policies. Assists higher-level technicians.

• Locate, identify, and resolve any safety issues with mechanical or electrical devices

• Proactively investigate needs, evaluate issues, and present/recommend alternatives to decrease overall facility operational downtime thus increasing operational effectiveness.

• Develop and maintain purchasing/inventory controls for repair parts and tool inventories.

• Support existing and future projects during installations, start-up, and long-term operation.

• Support daily/weekly asset usage.

• Assist in daily/weekly training warehouse personnel.

• Assist with special projects as directed by management.

• Continuously seeking to improve upon existing methods of operation, by research and development.

Qualifications:

• Experience in production or high volume distribution settings is a plus.

• Experience with conveyor systems, high-volume washers/dryers/air tumblers etc.

Environment / Shift:

• Warehouse environment.

• RPCs are received, unloaded and sorted, sanitized/washed and QC'd, restacked and prepped for shipment.

• Maintenance team oversees facilities and mechanical maintenance.

• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 10:30pm, Monday to Friday.

• 3rd Shift: 10:00pm - 6:30am, Monday to Friday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $62400.00/yr.
