Maintenance Mechanic / Direct Hire

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in a metals manufacturing plant.

  • The ideal candidate will maintain and repair industrial equipment and production machinery, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and work on a variety of machinery including saws, press brakes, rollers, CNC routers, plasma cutters, and welders.

  • You will also complete preventative maintenance routines, follow blueprints and technical manuals to make repairs, and troubleshoot machine issues over the phone with manufacturers when needed.

  • Additionally, you will assist with facilities maintenance, including minor HVAC work, plumbing, and construction.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair industrial equipment and production machinery.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

  • Work on machinery including saws, press brakes, rollers, CNC routers, plasma cutters, and welders.

  • Complete preventative maintenance routines.

  • Follow blueprints and technical manuals to make repairs.

  • Troubleshoot machine issues over the phone with manufacturers when needed.
