Description

Robert Half is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a well-established company in Portland. This is a great opportunity for a well-rounded HR professional to support key human resource functions while driving compliance and employee satisfaction. In this role, you will manage various HR processes, from handling workers' compensation to safety compliance and year-end reporting. Responsibilities:

• Oversee workers' compensation claims and serve as the primary point of contact for employees and external providers.

• Administer disciplinary actions while ensuring adherence to company policies.

• Lead and manage the safety committee, addressing workplace safety issues and implementing preventive measures.

• Conduct year-end HR reporting and maintain OSHA compliance records.

• Handle unemployment claims, preparing and submitting necessary documentation.

• Perform audits on HR processes, ensuring compliance with legal and company regulations.

  Requirements

• 3+ years of HR generalist experience across a range of HR functions.

• Familiarity with HR compliance, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims.

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience in safety management.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
