We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Paralegal with a focus on Estate Planning/Trust matters in our Portland, Oregon office. The ideal candidate will have experience in complex estate planning, tax laws impacting estate plans, and gifting strategies, especially for high-net-worth individuals and families. This role will also involve succession planning for clients with closely held businesses and advising on estate planning issues affecting multi-generational transfers.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze current and proposed tax laws affecting estate plans and develop gifting strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families

• Emphasize on succession planning for clients with closely held businesses

• Advise clients on estate planning issues affecting multi-generational transfers

• Gain experience with charitable planning, nonprofit corporations, probates, trust administrations, special needs planning, and protective proceedings

• Represent beneficiaries when necessary

• Handle complex estate planning tasks including trust accounting, trust returns, and trust tax returns

Requirements

5+ YOE in Estate Planning/Trust Law

Experience handling high net worth Estates and Business Succession Planning

Paralegal Certificate preferred
