Summary: TCG Photographers are responsible for providing professional photographs of electronics that accurately represent the product as well as entering descriptions of material. This is a data-entry heavy position and requires photography skills. This position is a 40 hour work week, day shift. The Portland facility is located near the airport in Portland, and is accessible by public transportation. Although this may be your primary duty or function, you are expected to be cross-trained in other areas of the business and assist in those areas on an as-needed basis. Provide professional photographs and general descriptions - Ensure all pertinent information is listed within auctions; Ensure pictures/descriptions promote the item that is for sale, while still detailing all possible defects; Ensure all products are clean for presentation to possible buyers. Meet departmental goals and objectives. Meet daily quotas. Maintain active involvement in safety committee meetings. Become familiar with updated processes when applicable. Understand and follow Quality Environmental Health and Services (QEHS) processes and procedures; Compliance with all company security policies and procedures; Cross train in other areas as needed. Employees will also demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. Participate in occasional mandatory overtime. Qualifications: Three or more years of experience with computer software, Internet searches and email. Master level of experience with Microsoft Office Picture Manager and Outlook. FrontPage is a plus. Digital Photography: Using a basic camera, arranging items to take high quality descriptive photos, editing photos and file names, uploading photos to the computer and websites. Understanding security concerns when using password protected internet accounts and resources. Typing 30 wpm. Additional information: Successful completion of Background Investigation to include but not limited to: Social Security Trace/Validation; Criminal Felony & Misdemeanor Search (all counties of residence),Statewide Criminal Search (all states of residence) and Employment Verification for the past 7 years; Drug Testing; Subsequent random Background Investigation and Drug Testing.
