Hybrid position

Pay: \\$80,000 annually

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Overview:Finance Director isresponsible for overseeing the Finance Department, ensuring accuracy of reporting and compliance with Federal, State and Local laws.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee the flow of cash or financial instruments.
  • Evaluate data pertaining to costs to plan budgets.
  • Establish procedures for custody or control of assets, records, loan collateral, or securities to ensure safekeeping.
  • Participate and oversee bidding process for our wholly owned subsidiary, DRAF Industries.
  • Develop or analyze information to assess the current or future financial status of firms.
  • Prepare financial or regulatory reports required by laws, regulations, or boards of directors.
  • Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting or collection procedures, or investment activities and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets, or other financial control functions.
  • Prepare operational or risk reports for management analysis.
  • Supervise staff, as assigned, including conducting annual performance evaluations, establishing and monitoring performance goals, providing support and direction to supervisees.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors; assess any changes necessary.
  • Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices, including protection of corporate assets; develop and ensure implementation of the finance departments overall policies and procedures.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to manage all employee benefit and property insurance programs.
  • Adhere to all The Iris Network policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or similar field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks desktop and Paychex payroll system.
