Sawmill Laborer in Portage, Maine

Our client in Portage is currently seeking an individual with the ability to perform physical work safely and a mechanical aptitude to work as a Sawmill Laborer! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity.

Location: Portage, Maine

Compensation: $15+, depending on experience

Schedule: M-Th 6a-4:30p & every other Friday

What you’ll be doing:

• Operating various sawmill machines

• Lifting and moving boards

• Performing preventative maintenance

• Assisting with clean up and utility work

• Ability to perform physical work with a high level of safety awareness

• Mechanical aptitude

• Ability to adapt to changing work demands and work with a team

• Previous sawmill experience or similar preferred
