Position Overview

Shaw Industries is seeking LTO Operators (Forklife Operators) for 2nd & 3rd shift opportunities in Port Wentworth, GA. Starting pay is $20.91/hr with increases at 6 months to $21.79/hr and 1 year to $23.21/hr. Must be able to complete mandatory training on day shift the first 2 weeks of employment.

2nd shift hours are Monday - Friday 3pm-11p.

Responsibilities

• Transport flooring material from trailers to storage location, and from storage location to the customer or Shaw trucks for shipping.

• Retrieve hard surface material with their lift truck, build, and wrap pallets per pull task specifications.

• Maintain a safe work environment

• responsible for reporting unsafe storage areas (leaning pallets, damaged walls, etc.) and unsafe working conditions to Supervisors.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience in an industrial setting (manufacturing/warehouse/distribution)

• Forklift or equipment operator experience required

• Ability to lift up to 51lbs repetitively is a must

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Basic computer skills

• *Must be able to attend training on 1st Shift for the first two weeks of employment
