Job Title: Press Brake Machine Set-Up Operator
Job Description
Set up, adjust, and operate brake press and punch press to form, bend and punch a variety of work pieces. Set up dies and gauges, adjust ram stroke to form materials to proper angle and radii. Work from drawings, specifications, patterns, or templates. Use scale, protractor, fixed angle, and radii gauges. Sort and package parts, verify quantity and quality of material. Move raw material to and from production areas as necessary. Operate overhead crane while moving product. Adhere strictly to all company and departmental policies and procedures related to safety and conduct.
Responsibilities
Set up, adjust, and operate brake press and punch press.
Form, bend, and punch a variety of work pieces.
Set up dies and gauges, adjust ram stroke to form materials to proper angle and radii.
Work from drawings, specifications, patterns, or templates.
Use scale, protractor, fixed angle, and radii gauges.
Sort and package parts.
Verify quantity and quality of material.
Move raw material to and from production areas as necessary.
Operate overhead crane while moving product.
Adhere to all company and departmental safety and conduct policies.
