We are seeking a skilled maintenance machinist to set up and operate a variety of machine tools and maintain production machines, including printing presses. You will your expertise in mechanics, shop mathematics, and machining techniques to keep production equipment running smoothly. You'll also diagnose mechanical issues and repair as needed. Work schedule is 10 hour shifts M - Th, enjoying 3 day weekends! Hit the button to get the process started!

Responsibilities

• Build and repair precision machine parts, including die sets for punch press operations, following technical drawings.

• Hands-on experience with:

• Precision hand tools (calipers, micrometers, drills, taps, dies)

• Surface grinder operations

• Bridgeport Mill for drilling, tapping, milling, and boring

• Lathe for drilling, turning, knurling, and boring

• Band saw, Hydraulic press, MIG welding

Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude to maintain including:

• Set-up of punches and buttons in die sets.

• Die set sharpening and adjustments for proper fit.

• Basic electrical knowledge to read and interpret diagrams.

• Maintain, lubricate, and troubleshoot machine tools and equipment.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 7 hours at one time
