Job Details Coordination of the credentialing process for Practitioner appointment/reappointment to the Medical Staff in conjunction with local, State and Federal regulations. Responsibilities: Coordinates the credentialing process for physician appointment to the medical staff. Ensures along with the Central Credentials Office, that the credentialing process is in compliance with all regulatory agency requirements. Attends Credentials Committee Meeting include material preparation and minutes. Provides consultation, structure and supervision regarding appointment and reappointment process to departmental directors/section chiefs. Serves as liaison with departments and physicians. Handles facets of privileging; temporary, observations, change in privileges, proctoring Responsible for all reviews required for Medical Staff Process Data requests Facilitates resident and student rotations with scheduling and processing of documents Prepares Medical Staff Meeting Minutes as required Maintains online call schedules Routine office duties Requirements: Education: Minimum of High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred; Skills: MS EXCEL, MS ACCESS, MS Word Ability to work with diverse personalities. Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Salary Range USD $27.00 - USD $42.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
