Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Assemblers for a full-time, long-term position in the manufacturing industry, specifically producing carpeted products for the automotive sector. This role involves loading and unloading materials and assemblies into presses, performing inspections, and producing formed/trimmed products. Candidates must be willing to work overtime, including 10-hour days and weekends as needed. The position is for the2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM)

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Port Huron, Michigan.

Work Environment

The company operates in a high-production environment with 8-10 stamping cells and multiple presses per cell. There are approximately 70 production employees on each shift, across three facilities in town. The company recently expanded and secured a large long-term contract, resulting in significant job creation and new leadership initiatives aimed at improving retention and employee satisfaction. Training involves pairing with experienced line leaders and production employees, with most jobs requiring only one day of training to become efficient.
