Akima Project Manager in Port Hueneme, California

Systems Intelligence is seeking a project management professional to provide on-site oversight of an IT Operations and Maintenance contract in a DoD environment.

Responsibilities

  • Achievement of all contract SLA/performance levels.

  • Creation and submission of over 50 recurring deliverables (including document management/control).

  • Day to day administrative support and oversight of subordinate technical personnel.

  • Understanding all ongoing technical efforts and the integration amongst the efforts.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of project management experience.

  • Strong oral and writing communication skills, including professional interface and communication with all customer stakeholders.

  • Excellent time management, decision making, presentation, human relations, and organization skills.

  • Ability to understand, monitor and integrate all technical efforts within the project.

  • Ability to quickly identify negative performance in a project and develop effective mitigation strategies.

  • Experience working in a DoD military environment.

  • Ability to multi-task.

  • Project Management Professional certification or relevant bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science).

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree and PMP certification is highly preferred.

  • Work experience in a US Navy environment highly preferred.

Pay Range

150000-185000
