We are looking for skilled and passionate individuals to join our culinary team as Cooks at 1812 Food & Spirits. As a Cook, you will play a key role in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to delight our guests. Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards - Ensure all food preparation meets food safety and sanitation guidelines - Collaborate with kitchen team members to coordinate timing of food production - Monitor food inventory and communicate with the Chef or Sous Chef regarding ingredient needs - Maintain a clean and organized work station, including proper storage of food items and cleaning of kitchen equipment - Follow proper cooking techniques and presentation standards to enhance the overall dining experience - Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and special event preparation as needed Qualifications: - Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred - Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen equipment operation - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment - Strong attention to detail and passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes - Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills - Culinary degree or certification is a plus, but not required If you have a love for cooking, a creative flair for culinary arts, and a dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences, we invite you to apply for the Cook position.
