ASSOCIATED MARINE SERVICES INC Line Handler in Port Arthur, Texas

[Associated Marine Services, Inc is a locally owned and operated business. It has been family-owned and managed for over 30 years in the Port Arthur area. Our company has not suffered from layoffs, or force reductions, unlike many oil and gas industry companies.

The Line Handler position is a vital component in the shipping industry along the Neches River. Our contracts extend to numerous refinery docks along the Neches River ship channel. On occasion, there will also be stores, reducers, etc. going out to the ship.

Timeliness and reliability are key qualities for this position. The shipping industry operates 365 days a year, working in/around inclement weather.[Because of the importance of our contracts, w[e rely on having boat operators and line handlers who are punctual and efficient. We currently offer $42/per completed job and $15/hr for any stand-by time. Paychecks will vary depending on amount of call-outs attended.
