What You Can Expect

Provide HR support to Director and/or Manager of Human Resources in the assigned division(s). Leads assigned projects with management oversight.

How You'll Create Impact

Tactical and Compliance Role (Employee Manual, QSR, Policies, Documentation)

  • Policy Implementation : Ensure that all HR policies and procedures are effectively communicated and implemented across the organization.

  • Compliance Monitoring : Regularly review and monitor company practices to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.

  • Documentation : Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring all documentation complies with legal standards.

  • Reporting : Prepare and submit required reports to management and relevant authorities, ensuring all data is accurate and timely.

Training and Development (New Hire, Training Development & Delivery)

  • Training Needs Assessment : Identify training needs within the organization by collaborating with managers and employees to determine areas for development.

  • Program Development : Design and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills and align with organizational goals.

  • Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they receive necessary training and orientation.

  • Continuous Learning : Promote a culture of continuous learning by encouraging and facilitating ongoing development opportunities for employees.

Employee Relations Support – (Data gathering, documentation, interviewing, performance management)

  • Employee Engagement : Support initiatives aimed at improving employee morale, engagement, and retention.

  • Performance Management : Assist in the performance review process by providing managers with tools and guidance to conduct fair and constructive evaluations.

Activities Coordination

  • Event Planning : Organize and manage employee events, such as team-building activities, company celebrations, and wellness programs.

  • Communication : Ensure timely and effective communication of HR-related activities and initiatives across the organization.

  • Feedback Mechanism: Develop and manage feedback channels to understand employee needs and address concerns proactively.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Understanding, use and/or application of HR principles, theories, and concepts

  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills

  • Research and data analytics capabilities with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to successfully manage projects and/or planning and execution of tasks.

  • Analytical and creative problem-solving skills

  • Self-motivation, learning agility and leadership abilities

  • Ability to develop interpersonal relationships, and work effectively in a professional environment

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality as a high level of discretion is required

Your Background

  • English proficiency is required (C1)

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, labor relations, business administration or related field.

  • 4-5 years of relevant work experience in HR.

  • Availability to work on site at our medical device manufacturing plant in Ponce.

  • Relocation package is not available.
