We are building a team to lead SCE’s NextGen Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program focused on motivating change through streamlining and modernizing our processes/systems across the ERP landscape. Our migration to the next generation of SAP’s ERP software and enabling new digital solutions will increase integration and automation, integrate artificial intelligence, and improve data access and quality.

Become a NextGen Asset Management Senior Advisor to help oversee NextGen Asset Management strategy efforts. You will serve as the lead on implementation teams and the single point of contact for NextGen design workshops as well as oversee the development of tools, data readiness efforts, and processes needed to ensure a successful implementation of Asset Management principles and asset integration business planning. This position is expected to be a subject matter expert in all aspects related to Asset Management.

  • Briefings and strategic discussions with Principal Managers and Director with occasional interaction with VP and SVP.

  • Coordination, persuasion, and influence with Principal Manager, Director, and all levels of leadership in Transmission & Distribution.

  • No direct reports but will influence all levels of the organization, including driving initiatives and specific work tasks for System Integrator and support staff.

  • Lead functional and technical landscape solution design for one or more complex business process domains such as Finance, Human Capital Management – Time Management, Logistics, Supply Planning,

  • Procurement, Asset Management, Work Management, etc.

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of existing business processes and procedures to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

  • Develop and implement effective process improvement strategies, including process redesign, automation, and optimization.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure process improvements align with business goals and objectives.

  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of process improvements to ensure they are achieving the desired outcomes.

  • Develop and deliver training materials to ensure employees are knowledgeable about process improvements and can effectively utilize new tools and systems.

  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

The essentials

  • 10 or more years of experience advising and recommending courses of action on process improvements, operational plans or business strategy.

The preferred

  • Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related fields.

  • Experience working in Transmission and/or Distribution business units.

  • Experience leading collaboration workshops to design process improvements and implement the results.

  • Experience and expert-level knowledge of Asset Management strategies, performance, and or engineering.

  • 5 or more years of experience facilitating workshops with various functional teams and end user stakeholders.

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
