IHG Food & Beverage Attendant - voco Kirkton Park Hotel in Pokolbin, Australia

voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley is a luxury boutique hotel set on an intimate 70-acre estate, ideally situated in Pokolbin at the gateway to the finest vineyards of the Hunter Valley.

Our Hotel is looking for Food & Beverage Attendants to join our engaged and friendly team, where your exceptional eye for detail, and passion for high quality, will provide guests with a truly memorable experience.

No day will be the same as you will get the opportunity to work across all areas of the hotel, to look after our valued clients in Epoche Bar, Locavore Restaurant, Conference & Events and Room Service.

The Role:

  • Working across outlets.

  • Creating a warm welcome for every single guest that sets the tone for their experience with us

  • Serving food & beverage to a high standard as well as highlighting promotions for our guests

  • Making the perfect cup of barista coffee

  • Understand the menu and promotional activities

  • Handling cash and credit transactions

  • Working closely with your Kitchen and F&B colleagues to deliver a truly seamless food & beverage experience every time

  • Setting up and packing down functions and events

  • You’ll look after your outlet – keeping it clean and tidy

What's Required?

  • Previous experience in a hotel environment or within the hospitality industry is an advantage

  • Current RSA Certification & Food Safety Certificate on food handling (Food Safety training can be organised by the hotel)

  • Experience with preparing coffees and coffee artistry would be an advantage

  • The flexibility to work morning, evening, weekend and public holiday shifts

  • Great communication – you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to

  • Excellent presentation and grooming is a must

  • Full Australian working rights.
