Honeywell Technical Resource Manager in Plymouth, Minnesota

As a Technical Resource Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in managing and leading a team of technical resources in the Building Automation business unit. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, providing technical expertise and guidance, and driving operational excellence. Your primary objective is to optimize resource allocation, enhance customer satisfaction, and contribute to the growth and success of the organization.

You will report directly to our Field Service Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Plymouth, MN location.

In this role, you will impact the organization by effectively managing and leading a team of technical resources, ensuring the successful delivery of projects, and driving customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resources with project requirements, optimize resource allocation, and drive operational efficiency. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex technical issues, mentor and develop team members, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and lead a team of technical resources, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align resources with project requirements and optimize resource allocation.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex technical issues and ensure the successful execution of projects.

  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures to drive operational efficiency.

    YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 3+ years of experience in managing technical resources or similar role.

  • Experience in the Building Automation industry (EBI, Security/DVM etc.)

  • Strong leadership and management skills.

  • Customer facing and excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Project management experience.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to oversee projects from Planning through Completion
