Infinite Health Collaborative (iHealth) Surgery Scheduler - Twin Cities Orthopedics in Plymouth, Minnesota

Description The Scheduler is responsible for scheduling duties, patient registration, and additional administrative tasks. This is a full-time position working M-F out of our Plymouth Orthopedic Surgery Center. Hours will be based on surgery center needs. Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Functions: Responsible for accurately and consistently scheduling and verifying insurance information for all surgical procedures. Maintains professional relationships with all physician offices. Works in conjunction with Leadership on block scheduling and maintains the schedule flow. Assists in training staff in scheduling as needed. Accountable for reporting occurrences through the center's established reporting process related to employee and/or patient/visitor events. Participates in acceptable continuing education, fostering career and skill development including meeting departmental continuing education requirements. Any and all other duties as assigned including those assigned to Patient Services Representative (see Patient Services Representative Job Description) and Non-Clinical Pre-Admission Coordinator (see NCPATC Job Description). Education and Experience Requirements: High School diploma/GED or equivalent Medical terminology knowledge preferred Two years' experience in medical office setting or related field preferred Essential Requirements: Ability to: Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines. Complete job required training.
