Job Title: Sr. Procurement Specialist Location: Plymouth, MN 55442 Duration: 10+ Months Details: This role will be with the Client Electrophysiology Division and work be located in Plymouth, MN. The New Product Introduction (NPI) Sourcing Manager within Electrophysiology is responsible for the development and execution sourcing strategy for design and development phases of new product launches. This role will support and influence internal/external stakeholders to ensure engagement, alignment, and business readiness to drive launch of new products from idea to commercialization with emphasis on quality, sustainability, supply chain risk, total cost of ownership, and technological capability. What You'll Work On * Lead the sourcing and supply chain aspects of new product development in collaboration with program managers, R&D, Design Assurance, Process Development, Quality, Regulatory and other functional groups throughout the NPI process. * Coordinate and collaborate with Strategic and Tactical procurement for supplier strategies and to operationalize procurement activities through development builds and commercialization. * Negotiates complex Design, Development Agreements, Statements of Work and assist with terms leading to commercial Supply Agreements. * Leverages core business systems (SAP) and various software technologies to provide continuous improvements. * Drive initiatives for development and redesign of processes that optimize carrying cost, operational cost, obsolescence cost, and service levels. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance or related field. * Progressively responsible experience in materials management/purchasing. * 7 years' experience working in a highly regulated environment and proven familiarity with applicable regulations. * 5 years' experience working with MRP, DRP, ERP, forecasting, inventory management within SAP or similar system software. * Experience leading cross functional projects and teams. Preferred Qualifications * Masters' degree preferred. * Experience negotiating complex contract terms with vendors, suppliers and contractors. * New Product Introduction within medical device or related industry experience is preferred.
