JOB SUMMARY:

This role serves as a key finance resource within the Polaris Experience Business Unit, reporting to the Finance Manager of Polaris Experience. In this role you will proactively partner with Polaris Experience and Finance leaders to report results, analyze trends and provide financial guidance and recommendations to management. This role will manage and execute day-to-day financial functions as they pertain to Polaris Adventures outfitter support as well as manage the FP&A functions for Polaris Xchange. The individual in this role will be required to be highly resourceful, capable of identifying and utilizing various tools and strategies to overcome challenges and achieve objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Track, maintain and monitor department invoicing and business unit revenue to corporate alignment

  • Provide exception management and support sales and operations teams in allowance tracking

  • Support account management team on day-to-day account needs

  • Participate in key activities and processes cross-functionally in efforts to plan, analyze and grow the Polaris Experience business

  • Execute various month-end close and forecast processes (Adventures & Xchange); ensuring financial results/forecast are complete, accurate and prepared consistent with corporate policies

  • Analyze financial and operational results to proactively identify business risk and opportunity, as well as respective plans to countermeasure/leverage for benefit of the business

  • Drive process automation and enhanced reporting of KPIs

  • Become an integral part of the business team, providing leadership and functional expertise wherever needed; solicit feedback and provide closed loop communication system to enhance quality of service

  • Perform miscellaneous projects and tasks as assigned

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

  • 3-6 years accounting/finance experience

  • Strong systems aptitude with extensive experience in various Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint) required. OneStream and PowerBI, and other query & data tools experience a plus

  • Strong project management capabilities with ability to manage and prioritize concurrent projects and initiatives

  • Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills with previous experience working with business partners on a routine basis

  • Ability to plan and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities

  • Self-starter with strong analytics and problem-solving experience with ability to analyze complex data and translate into actionable information and plans

The pay range for Minnesota is $80,000 to $111,000 per year. Individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
