Baxter Healthcare Corporation is currently seeking a Research Associate - II who is highly motivated and ambitious to join our team in Plymouth. As a Research Associate, you will play a critical role in our research efforts, working closely with a team of experts to develop and optimize polymer materials. Your contributions will directly impact the development of innovative medical devices and therapies, making a difference in the lives of patients worldwide. Responsibilities: Conduct research experiments and analyze data to determine the properties and performance of polymer materials. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new formulations and optimize existing ones. Assist in the design and implementation of experiments to evaluate the efficacy and safety of polymer materials. Develop technical reports and presentations to effectively communicate research findings to relevant individuals or groups. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in polymer materials and contribute to the continuous improvement of research processes. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Proven experience in polymer materials research, including hands-on laboratory work. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Meticulous and capable of closely following research protocols and safety guidelines. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $96,000 to $132,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
