Patient Care Technician Job Location US-MN-Plymouth ID 2023-10876 Status Full Time Shift Evening Schedule Tues - Sat Hours of Work 3:00p.m. - 11:30p.m. Responsibilities Provide work direction to Addiction Technicians specific to site and supervisor needs. Provide patient/client orientation and coordinate various internal processes. Assist supervisor, patients, technicians, clinical and medical staff to ensure a successful rehabilitation process with the Hazelden Betty Ford guidelines, philosophies, policies and procedures. Provide work direction and support to Addiction Technicians and coordinate the workflow and staffing of the Addiction Technician work areas to ensure quality patient/client care and adequate coverage of all technician functions. As required by site, provide orientation for all new patients ensuring curriculum is completed with each patient (the clinical part of this function is supervised by the Supervisor). As required by site, monitor compliance with self-administration of medications. As required by site, coordinate various internal processes (i.e., speakers for volunteer program, coordinate lecture schedule, alumni orientation, PANEL and coordination of various visitors). As a member of the multi-disciplinary team, assist patients/clients with recovery activities from admission to discharge. Assure a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, guests and visitors Qualifications Required Qualifications: High School or equivalent Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar position Must be 21 years of age CPR/First Aid certification or attain within 30 days Current Self-Administration of Medication Certification or must obtain within 90 days (Hazelden St.Paul) Current Drivers License Preferred Qualifications: Vocational or technical training or Bachelors Degree Lead or supervisor experience preferably in the Addiction field or related Min USD $20.00/Hr.
