Daikin Applied Learning & Technology Specialist - 12 Month Contract - Remote in Plymouth, Minnesota

The Learning & Technology Specialist is responsible for deploying learning solutions and supporting the Daikin Learning team to deliver excellence in learning to our customers. This role will work closely with Learning Program Managers and Operational Learning Managers to ensure that the experience for our internal and external customers is exceptional. Location: Remote - United States What you will do: Implement learning technology solutions in support of evolving business and operational needs using our learning technology ecosystem, including: LMS (Cornerstone), learning pathway tool (Intrepid), video streaming platform (Wistia), webinar platform (Webex), SharePoint and more Manages the LMS administrative functions including creation of courses and course schedules, manage enrollments, security permissions, notifications, assignments and assessments Manages the course publication process; participates in quality testing and troubleshooting Participates in the development and implementation of procedures and operating policies for learning technology Maintains accuracy of complex LMS processes such as consistent application of course descriptions, curricula configurations, course or class changes and instructor assignments Builds and maintains learning reports to support the business Supports the billing process Provides LMS and other leaning technology training and support to the organization Facilitates end user training of LMS application for colleagues, leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs), meeting facilitators, etc., in best practices of LMS methodology and procedures Manages the administrative and deployment functions for learning programs in our learning pathway tool, Intrepid Able to analyze processes and make recommendations to improvements learning technology usage Administrate other learning technologies as needed: gamification, assessment, survey, virtual instructor led, Virtual Reality support, etc. Support end-to-end program management: logistics, materials, set-up, purchasing, activity planning, financial tracking Maintains a consolidated calendar of training courses or events and coordinates the use of facilities or equipment Schedules speakers or subject matter experts (SMEs) Administers Daikin Learning processes and participates in Daikin Learning projects as needed Minimum Qualifications: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position 2+ Years of LMS admin experience 2+ Years of training operations experience or comparable experience 1+ Year of experience with Intrepid software 1+ Year of SharePoint experience Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with Cornerstone LMS Previous experience with Power BI Experience with learning design and deployment technologies College degree and/or relevant certifications in instructional design or learning content creation Equal Opportunity Employment: It is the policy of Daikin Applied to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of race, creed, color, religion, gender, gender identification, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, genetic information, marital status, membership or activity in a local commission, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
