Honeywell Information Systems Security Officer in Plymouth, Minnesota

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain government compliance for information systems as an Information Systems Security Officer in accordance with NIST SP800-53.
Work closely with other ISSOs, the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and Facility Security Officers (FSO).
Perform auditing of information systems, including collecting and analyzing audit logs.
Perform monthly compliance scans and vulnerability scans and then remediating and mitigating findings.
Perform monthly and quarterly security control validation using SCAP Compliance Checker and STIG Viewer.
Perform duties of an ISSO as detailed in the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM).
The annual base salary for this position is $98,400 - $123,200. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD security clearance
2+ years of system administration experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server
US citizen
Basic understanding of the DAAPM and NIST SP 800-53
WE VALUE
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Active CompTIA Security+ certification
Active US DoD security clearance
Experience as an ISSM and/or ISSO
Experience as a Linux system administrator
