Verdantas is seeking a Field Technician Intern for the Summer of 2025. This position will be located in Plymouth, MI .

Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality control testing of various construction materials on construction sites

• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Maintains the technical knowledge and professional certifications needed to perform job duties

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A two-year college degree or greater in a related field is preferred

• Experience working in the construction materials testing field is desirable

• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload

• Proficiency with standard computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel

• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, internally and externally

• ACI/MCA Concrete Field Testing Technician and Nuclear Safety Certified certifications are highly desired

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and 80 lbs periodically

• Applicant must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and proof of insurance
