Verdantas is seeking a Field Technician Intern for the Summer of 2025. This position will be located in Plymouth, MI .
Responsibilities:
Conduct quality control testing of various construction materials on construction sites
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Maintains the technical knowledge and professional certifications needed to perform job duties
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A two-year college degree or greater in a related field is preferred
Experience working in the construction materials testing field is desirable
Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload
Proficiency with standard computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, internally and externally
ACI/MCA Concrete Field Testing Technician and Nuclear Safety Certified certifications are highly desired
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and 80 lbs periodically
Applicant must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and proof of insurance
