If interested, send an updated resume to [email protected]Duration:Long term contractLocation:Horsham, PAOnsite:On a need-be basisPosition Summary:Independently leading simultaneous IT projects from initiation to completion, ranging from technical infrastructure deployments/upgrades to large scale software deployments/upgrades. He/she will: Prepare and present business cases to senior management for large projectsManage and coordinate required project phase gates through required approvalsSchedule, facilitate and document project meetingsMaintain all related information and project artifacts via the project repositorySupport senior stakeholder management, engagement, alignment and active sponsorship critical for program success - including clearly communicating status, risks and remediation plans to executive stakeholders on a regular basis; resolve issues that arise across projects, keeping in mind impacts to the program timelines and to other programs/projectsCoordinate work performed by various project resources including technical staff, internal customers, and partnersLead development of detailed project plans and project milestones working with network engineeringApplication development, business analysis, and business unit teams; align priorities to ensure delivery against assigned project(s) along with progress tracking, change control, and on-time deliveryEnsure IT resources are clearly scheduled and available to meet project timelinesEstablish effective relationships through positive communication that motivates and influences othersDevelop user communications for project deployments/upgradesTrack deliverables against project success criteria.Project Manager Level II Requirements:BS/BA degreePMP or related PM certification3-6 years' experience of project management in broad technology and business areasExperience simultaneously managing multiple projects of different sizesExperience working on projects with geographically distributed teams and vendorsExperience assisting junior PMs and working within a PMO frameworkExperience implementing software solution projectsProject Manager?Responsibilities:Engages in co-leading IT projects with another Project Manager or IT Manager to ensure they are completed on-time, on-scope and within budgetSupports the development of project plans that include all required artifacts and checkpoints.Coordinates project required phase gates acquiring required approvals Tracks key project milestones and communicate impacts to project plans and/or resources to the IT ManagementTracks open action items to closure and escalates risks and/or issues as neededPrepares regular reporting for management regarding status of all assigned IT projectsWorks with IT Directors and corporate PMO to develop capacity plan to ensure IT resources are clearly scheduled andavailable to meet project timelinesIndependently leads and co-manages with other Project Managers and/or IT Managers IT projects with adherence to project management principles and processesDevelops project plans that include all required artifacts, key milestones and related checkpointsHas overall responsibility for managing project scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing and outside vendors, and contractual deliverables for all assigned projectsManages project milestones and communicate impacts to project plans, resources and/or budget to key stakeholdersManages open action items to closure and escalate risks and/or issues, as needed Coaches junior IT PMsAdministrative tasks including, but not limited to:Management level communicationScheduling, facilitating and documenting meetingsCreating and presenting project progressTracking completion on all deliverablesMaintaining all related information via the centralized project repositoryWeekly reporti g for management regarding status of projectEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
