Description

We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk located in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania. This role requires an individual to maintain the role of credit clerk, managing customer credit applications and records, and handling customer inquiries. The industry of operation is in telecom services. The workplace environment is a traditional office setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Processing customer credit applications with precision and efficiency

• Maintaining accurate records of customer credit

• Addressing and resolving customer inquiries related to credit

• Monitoring customer credit accounts regularly

• Initiating appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments

• Handling a portfolio of accounts, including past due accounts that require collection or follow-up

• Utilizing Sage 300 for various tasks and processes

• Assisting with streamlining processes to increase efficiency

• Communicating with customers and sales staff

• Managing and setting up payments for customers

• Taking ownership of tasks and demonstrating initiative

• Applying intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel for various tasks.

Requirements

• Possess proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) operations and processes

• Exhibit advanced knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Excel

• Have hands-on experience with Sage 300 accounting software

• Showcase excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Show proficiency in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines

• Demonstrate knowledge of standard accounting principles and regulations
